North Star medallion XXIII points the way, keeping you on the path. It’s a pattern aimed towards the advanced beginner/ intermediate level stitcher, whether you desire to make it by hand or machine. The cut-outs in the 36” x 36” medallion are reverse applique. The lilac and parakeet green bright star elements are applique.

North Star is perfect as a wall-hanging by itself, or use it as the center medallion of a quilt of your own design. Or repeat the medallion as if it were a block to construct a quilt center of multiple North Stars.

We designed it in Deep, deep blue and light blue from the foundation and basic collections by Lumin Fabrics, formerly Island Batik, by hand.
