It is perfect as a wall-hanging, table decor piece or large pillow for your home, with its circular grace adding to your comfort and beauty. Re-imagined in today’s fabrics in Black and White with a touch of Orange by Banyan Batiks created by machine as a pillow, and in a trendy Blue/ Oatmeal with Coral colorway bound in Navy by Batik Textiles and stitched by hand reverse applique.

What is a Pattern PDF and how do I print it? Please read below before purchasing.

A Pattern PDF is a digital file of the complete pattern instructions and full-size pattern pieces. You will also be emailed Welcome Notes.

After purchase, a link to the Pattern PDF will be sent to you automatically – click the link to get your pattern. This link expires after 24 hours, but we can re-send it to you if you have any trouble. Just email us at admin@eobquiltdesign.com

  • All pattern booklets are 8.5” x 11” and can be printed on an in-home printer.

  • The full-size pattern pieces will need to be put on a USB stick and taken to a copy shop that can print in large format, or Read the blog, Printing Our PDF Digital Patterns at Home (3/18/2020) to print on an in-home printer. Just tape the two halves together.

  • This will be an additional expense for you. However, a Pattern PDF is priced at 25% off the print pattern price because of this additional expense to you.

  • Please check in your area that you have a copy shop that can print the pattern for you before purchasing.

Featuring fabrics by Banyan Batiks ( Black, White and orange) by machine reverse applique with applique as a pillow, and Batik Textiles (Blue/ oatmeal, Coral and Navy) by hand reverse applique as a wall-hanging.

Materials required:

  • Top & Backing Fabric: 1 ¾ yards (black & White) or (Conch Swirl)- For Pillow option, this provides pillow back, too.

  • Background Fabric: 7/8 yard (Black) or (coral)

  • Binding Fabric: ¼ yard (Orange) or (Navy)

  • Applique (Optional): 9” x 11” scrap    (Orange)

  • Batting: 7/8 yard (30” x 30” square)

  • For Machine only:

    • Soft Fuse: 1 – 26” x 26” square; 1 – 10” x 12” rectangle.

    • Terial Magic spray-on stabilizer, or 1 – 26” x 26” sq. fabric stabilizer of your choice.

  •      Option: Finishing as a pillow:

    • 7/8 yard (30” x 30” square) Muslin pillow top backing

    • Also needed: 1 - 26” pillow form or stuffing; 3 yards piping.

please note:

for the hand version of this quilt, it is very important to use a light background material which will assist you in tracing the medallion pattern onto the fabric.

instructions are also included in this pattern for assembling it by machine; for this version of the pattern, you can use dark or light materials for your background.
