This is the Optional Kit for Make & Create: Medallion, on the AQS SEAM Hawaii Quilt Cruise with Seminars at Sea, January 10 -27, 2026. The Make & Create: Medallion class happened January 21 -25, 2026 on shipboard after visiting Hawaii.
Your Optional Fabric Kit is the batik fabrics to make the North Star Medallion. The Kit includes:
1 1/8 yd Deep Blue print batik, top fabric,
1 1/8 yd Lt. Blue mottled batik, background fabric,
¼ yard Green, binding and applique bits,
FE Bright purple, applique bits
Other helpful items on the supply list are available for sale on the notions page of our shop: Kai 4” bent-handled, blunt-tipped scissors, desk top needle threader, Beam N’ Read light, Aurifil 80 wt. thread.
Required Materials Kit includes:
North Star Medallion XXIII pattern
Eye of the Beholder tote bag
1 spool of 40 wt. hand cotton quilting/ button thread in contrast to top fabric, basting
1 – pack (20) No. 7 Sharps needle, hand basting
1 – pack (10) No. 11 Milliner’s, hand reverse appliqué
1 pair small sharp Kai 4” bent-handled slightly, blunt-tipped scissors
Frixion gel pen for tracing pattern onto wrong side of background fabric
