Hand Reverse Applique the Easy Way-Starflower
All Levels - 3 hours
All times are Local: 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Location: Victory Hall
Workshop: AQS Lancaster #55S5606
There is an easier way to hand reverse applique: Trace, Baste, Snip & Stitch the Eye of the Beholder way. Come learn this easy four-step method as you make the Starflower block (9” x 9”) from our newest quilt, Grandmother’s Kitchen, evoking the cozy heart and comforting hearth of the family home. Our method makes it pleasureable to stitch by hand and so sew simple to get graceful curves and crisp inside and outside points. Join in the fun and let Margaret share with you how.
If you want to learn a bit about this technique before the workshop, check out our Tutorials section on the website: Hand Reverse Appliqué tutorial.
See below for downloadable Workshop preparation/materials list and Pre-cutting list. It’s essential that you pre-cut as there will not be time in the workshop to do this, so this will help us make best use of our time together. All links open in a new window.
There are required Materials for a fee that must be purchased in addition to the workshop.
If you’d like us to select your materials for you, you can also choose to buy an optional fabric kit put together by us perfectly to suit the pattern’s design and style. There are several colorways to choose from.
