Christmas already?
From Easter to Christmas may feel like a jump, or should I say a hop, but is it? Though we just memorialized Christ’s death and celebrated His resurrection, it echoes to the beginning of the story, and Christmas is the beginning!
Nan and I wrote “Christmas RAPPing – Christmas Quilts featuring Reverse Applique & Paper Piecing”, a book filled with wonderful Christmas projects to celebrate the birth of Christ with quilts. Each holiday project in our book uses a combination of both reverse applique and paper-piecing, hence the name Christmas RAPPing . But when you look at the many quilted projects, you will see several can go beyond the holidays. Be inspired to think outside the box with your fabric selections. Or mix and match the 4” and 12” blocks to personalize each project!
We had so much fun creating the designs and writing the book that we wanted to share these great projects with you.
We asked our designer friends who are or have been Island Batik Ambassadors if they wanted to be Christmas RAPPers and share in a blog hop about the book and the response was overwhelming.
